For two weeks of intense three point shoot-out production, Goodby, Silverstein & Partners and The ID Corp partnered together to bring 60 years of NBA finals coverage together on one day only as the masthead for Youtube’s homepage.
The interactive take-over spans 60 years of NBA imagery and video and gave us access to the NBA archival vault, which was inspired to say the least.
With no idea who would win the finals until 4 days before launch, multiple versions were created for each semi-final team and everyone was on the edge of the seat to know how we were going to get so much packed into so little time. With hours to spare, the ad was approved, the creative stayed strong, and the NBA finals will give us another amazing series.
